Mind Furniture are playing with MoeTar and Heliopolis on January 26th at the Starry Plough in Berkeley, California.  Come out and see the all too rare live show from Mind Furniture!   Mind Furniture also welcomes Jim Anderson on bass for the show.  Jim is better known as the awesome bass player in Metaphor.  It's going to be a good show.

Our new project, with the working title of "Irony+Ecstasy", is well under way. Initial recordings of the first 3 tracks start this Spring (2012).

Also, we want to welcome our new guitar player: Merdad Parsey. Progress has sped up considerably, as has the quality of our project, now that Merdad has joined Mind Furniture.

At least 3 members of the band will be attending this year's RosFest in Gettysburg, PA. Looking forward to that one!

Mind Furniture played on Rogue's Gallery!

A big thanks goes out to Frans Keylard for featuring Mind Furniture on two recent prog radio shows and podcasts. The Trial of God suite was played in its entirety on June 5th (Show #302). THE CD IS FINALLY RELEASED!!!

Hoop of Flame is out officially "out" on the Musea Label today. We are all very excited, relieved, ecstatic, bored, and proud that this project is finally completed and we can share it our fans at last (all 2 of you!).

6 years in the making (technically). Although, we started the recording process 3 or 4 years ago. What a trek. The next one in 2 years, max.

Well, it seems most of Europe takes August off, and that seems to be the case in France for sure. The Hoop of Flame release was supposed to be out in August, but it looks like it will be September or later at this point. Why should anything about this CD go quickly?!?

It will be worth the wait, though.

We have been contacting labels. After a false start with a Swiss label that seems to be closing its doors just as we were getting close to a commitment, we were offered a spot on the Musea label from France. Musea is one of the premier progressive rock labels and we are thrilled that we will be working with them for the Hoop of Flame release.
